Ownership, cancellation, price, capacity. The awkward ones first.
Your content and your domain are always yours. Your text, images, brand and web address leave with you whenever you decide to go, and we help you move them. The website itself, the design and build we create and keep improving, is part of the service rather than a one-off file you walk away with. But you are never stuck with that: you can take the site itself with you for a one-time transfer fee, and that fee falls every month you stay, until it reaches zero after two years. No long contract, cancel any time, domain always in your name. See the transfer fees
You keep your domain and all your content, and we help you move them wherever you like. Monthly plans cancel at any time, with no lock-in. What ends is the service itself: the hosting, the updates and the SEO work. If you want to keep the website too, you can — there is a one-time transfer fee of €3,900 on Presence, €5,900 on Growth and €8,900 on Partner, and it drops every month you are with us until it reaches €0 after 24 months. See the transfer fees
The complete site: every page, template, stylesheet, script and image asset, as a folder you or any developer can deploy on any host. What doesn't transfer is our platform — the dashboard, the analytics, the compliance tooling and the monthly work. Those are the service, not the site. The fee starts at €3,900 on Presence, €5,900 on Growth and €8,900 on Partner, and falls to zero across 24 months. See the transfer fees
You do, always, and it stays registered in your name. If we register it on your behalf during setup, it is transferred to your account. A vendor holding your domain is the single most common way small businesses get trapped, and we won't do it.
Monthly plans run month to month, and you can cancel any time. Paying a year up front gets you two months free. We don't use the 12- and 24-month lock-ins that are standard among the cheap "rent a website" providers.
Really. No setup fee, no deposit, no design retainer. We carry the build cost and earn it back across the subscription. That's precisely why we're selective about who we take on, and why the first call is a real conversation about whether this fits.
Because €99 buys you a template and a server. It doesn't buy anyone writing your content, watching your rankings, fixing your slow pages, or testing whether your contact form converts. That ongoing work is what you're paying for here. The website is where it lands. See the comparison
Two things are billed separately and we say so on the pricing page: your domain registration, and paid advertising spend on the Partner plan (the management is included; the money that goes to Google is not). Everything else is in the monthly fee.
Move up a plan whenever it makes sense, and not before. If you're on Presence and consistently exceeding your five monthly updates, we'll tell you you've outgrown it rather than quietly invoicing you for the overage.
Chris does the design, development, SEO and the monthly improvements. For specialist work such as photography, video or large translation jobs, he brings in people he has worked with for years, and tells you when he does. More about how I work
Weeks, not months. The exact timeline depends on how quickly content and photography come together on your side, which is usually the real bottleneck. We will be honest with you about that up front.
Text changes, new prices, new images, a new team member, a seasonal banner, a new page. You send a message describing what you want; we make the change. You never touch code. Entirely new sections or custom functionality are scoped separately, and we'll say so before doing any work.
We measure, improve, create and report on a documented monthly rhythm. See the monthly breakdown . The full cycle runs on Growth and Partner; Presence covers design, hosting, updates and the SEO essentials.
Usually we rebuild it. Inheriting a slow WordPress installation with eleven plugins tends to cost more to maintain than starting cleanly, and you'd be paying for that every month. We'll look at what you have and tell you honestly which is cheaper for you.
A simple one, yes, and it is included in every plan: a small catalogue — up to 10 products on Presence, 25 on Growth, 50 on Partner — with a secure checkout hosted by your payment provider. That is enough to sell a focused range, take deposits or fill workshop places. What we don't run is a full e-commerce platform: no stock synchronisation, subscriptions, B2B price groups, ERP connections or marketplace channels. Those are a business of their own, and you would be better served by a specialist. You keep your own payment account, and your shop legal texts stay with a provider who updates them for you; we build the shop around them and keep it working.
DSGVO (GDPR) governs how you handle visitors' personal data. BFSG is the German accessibility act, in force since June 2025, which requires many businesses offering services to consumers online to make them accessible. Whether it binds you depends on your size and sector, and we'll walk through it with you, though we're web developers, not your lawyers.
In the EU, on infrastructure we manage. SSL, backups, security patches and a global CDN are included in every plan.
Because we publish the scores and name the site they came from, so you can run the test yourself. See the measured results
