The binding version of this statement is the German one: Erklärung zur Barrierefreiheit.
This statement applies to the website chriskatzer.com, including its
German edition under /de/.
The target is Level A and AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. By our own assessment the site is largely conformant: the automatically testable Level A and AA success criteria are met.
By self-assessment, using axe-core with the wcag2a, wcag2aa,
wcag21a and wcag21aa rule sets, alongside spot checks of
keyboard operation, visible focus and colour contrast.
Automated testing covers only part of the success criteria — roughly a third, depending on the source. It cannot settle questions of comprehensibility, whether alternative text is meaningful, or how the site behaves with assistive technology. A clean automated result therefore does not mean a website is accessible.
If you have encountered a barrier, or need content from this site in an accessible format, please write to us. We reply as quickly as we can.
Christoph KatzerIf our reply does not resolve the matter to your satisfaction, you may contact the competent market surveillance authority under § 21 BFSG — in Germany the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF).
